Welcome to the North Vancouver Girl's Softball Association
Document Actions
Since 1950, the mission of the North Vancouver Girls Softball Association (NVGSA)
has been to provide girls an opportunity to play both fun and
competitive fastpitch softball. As many as 800 athletes play annually
on competitive house league teams and the Stars rep teams, organized by
a dedicated executive and supported by a large contingent of parent and
adult volunteers. Our home field is McCartney Park, located
just off Mt. Seymour Parkway in North Vancouver (in beautiful British
Columbia, Canada), with teams representing all areas of the North Shore.
The NVGSA is a part of Softball BC District 4.
Upcoming Coaching Certification Courses
So far there are two coaching "Competition - Clinic 1" courses being offered through Softball BC: November in New Westminster, and January in Coquitlam. All coaches are encouraged to improve their skills by taking training, and House coaches in the older divisions and all Rep coaches must have certification in order to qualify for 2009 provincials.
