Fall Pitching Clinic

Please contact Peter Powell (Assistant Head Coach) at 604-988-0311 or gppollock@telus.net if you have questions regarding Pitching Clinics.

This is a comprehensive pitching clinic with emphasis on mechanics and strength development leading to fast, accurate pitching. This clinic is suitable for all levels from beginner to advanced, and all age levels from Mite to Jr Ladies. We especially encourage House league pitchers to attend this clinic. Choose from Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday session times; pitchers will be grouped by age and ability.

If a team has more than one player registered in the Fall Pitching Clinic, each player will receive a credit of $20.00 towards their 2009 registration fee. Players who wish become catchers are also encouraged to attend this clinic to catch for their pitcher(s); catchers may attend at no cost, and we will be trying to include somecatcher instruction where possible.

Note: Attendees must bring someone to the clinic to catch for them. The clinic organizers and instructors will not be able to catch for the girls. For safety reasons, catchers for younger, less experienced pitchers must be a parent or another adult.

Winter Pitching Clinic

Please contact Peter Powell (Assistant Head Coach) at 604-988-0311 or gppollock@telus.net if you have questions regarding Pitching Clinics.

This is an abridged version of the comprehensive Fall pitching clinic. This clinic covers the same skills, with emphasis on mechanics and strength development leading to fast, accurate pitching, but the shorter time frame means the girls don't get the same number of reps. This clinic is also suitable for all levels from beginner to advanced, and all age levels from Mite to Midget. This clinic is a great way to get tuned up for the season, especially for House league pitchers.

Note: Attendees must bring someone to the clinic to catch for them. The clinic organizers and instructors will not be able to catch for the girls. For safety reasons, catchers for younger, less experienced pitchers must be a parent or another adult. Older, more experienced pitchers may bring a team mate who plays catcher to catch for them (at no additional cost).
