Midget Tournament Report
The end-of-season tournament for the Midget C division this year included for the first time teams from the Midget interlock and was hosted by Burnaby.
The North Van Devils and Outlaws place 1st and 2nd at the invitational year-end tournament hosted by the Burnaby Minor Softball Association at Squint Park. Based on the tournament standings, the Outlaws won the NVGSA Midget C Championship. In a field of seven teams, including all four NVGSA Midget C teams, the Devils and the Outlaws met in the first and last games of the three day tournament. All four North Vancouver teams put on a strong performance against the two Burnaby teams and the one Vancouver team. The tournament was a great success with all the players finishing their season on a high note with good weather, good ball and lots of fun!
Hopefully this format will become a new and welcome tradition in the years to come!
